Registration open – At Fraunhofer HHI we’ll explore acoustic simulation methods (from an AES67-capable microphone array to a binaural renderer) and then experience a TiME Lab demo on audio in interactive immersive environments featuring a 180° video projection and a wave-field-based 3D sound system.
On July 17, Philipp Wiedemann, a sound engineer at MDR, will give a tour of the current radio operations and the control room, including the television broadcast control center, at MDR headquarters.

The Swiss Regional Group will meet on August 10, 2026, in St.Gallen for a live 3D recording session at the world’s unique “Surround Organ” with Hans-Martin Buff, Bernhard Ruchti, and Stefan Ritzenthaler — followed by a Dolby Atmos listening session and apéro at Gallus Media.
