The Swiss Regional Group will meet on August 10, 2026, in St.Gallen for a live 3D recording session at the world’s unique “Surround Organ” with Hans-Martin Buff, Bernhard Ruchti, and Stefan Ritzenthaler — followed by a Dolby Atmos listening session and apéro at Gallus Media.

Fully booked – Visit the Berlin Philharmonie for insights into hall acoustics, the Digital Concert Hall and Dolby Atmos production. During a rehearsal of the Philhamoniker, we will see preparatory workflows in the video and audio studios.

Under the title “What kind of sound engineers does the market need?”, the VDT Symposium organized by the Swiss Regional Group is entering its second round. The event is aimed at career starters, students, and trainees, and will take place at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
