Today, the finals of the tenth Student 3D Audio Production Competition are taking place live in Graz. Students were invited to submit their work in three categories. From the many entries, three productions in each category were selected for the finals. Today, the nominees will present their work, and the jury will announce the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The event can be attended in person in Graz or at one of our public viewing locations, or followed online with a live binaural audio stream. It’s definitely worth checking out! Based on past years, we know we can expect high-quality work and plenty of fun.

HTWK Leipzig invites you to a public hearing and VDT meeting

To mark the 10th anniversary of the IEM Graz international competition—which focuses on 3D audio productions by students—a collective live listening session will once again take place at HTWK Leipzig on November 13, 2026. In the Media Center’s screening room, you can experience the finals with an immersive speaker setup, in a great atmosphere, followed by stimulating discussions. If you’d like to attend in Leipzig, please be sure to register with us in advance, as space is limited!
