Justin Gray, winner of the 2026 Grammy Award for 'Best Immersive Audio Album', will present his self-produced album Immersed at h_da for B.A. students in Sound and Music Production. At the invitation of the Department Education and Training, VDT members are also welcome to attend.

The Swiss Regional Group will meet on August 10, 2026, in St.Gallen for a live 3D recording session at the world’s unique “Surround Organ” with Hans-Martin Buff, Bernhard Ruchti, and Stefan Ritzenthaler — followed by a Dolby Atmos listening session and apéro at Gallus Media.

Under the title “What kind of sound engineers does the market need?”, the VDT Symposium organized by the Swiss Regional Group is entering its second round. The event is aimed at career starters, students, and trainees, and will take place at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
