Austrian Audio provides insights into its product philosophy and portfolio of microphones, headphones, and software at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The following hands-on session focuses on live microphone placement, listening comparisons, and direct comparisons of different mics.

Registration open – At Fraunhofer HHI we’ll explore acoustic simulation methods (from an AES67-capable microphone array to a binaural renderer) and then experience a TiME Lab demo on audio in interactive immersive environments featuring a 180° video projection and a wave-field-based 3D sound system.

Under the title “What kind of sound engineers does the market need?”, the VDT Symposium organized by the Swiss Regional Group is entering its second round. The event is aimed at career starters, students, and trainees, and will take place at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
