Introducing the Film and Television Department
The Film and Television Department views sound as an essential component of audiovisual design. It represents the interests of sound professionals from various areas of film and television production, including on-set sound, sound design, and dialogue editing, as well as mixing, technical implementation, and new forms of production.
Film and television sound is in a state of constant change: Working methods are changing, technical standards are evolving, and new forms of distribution and playback place additional demands on production and design. The division creates space for professional exchange, networking, and continuing education, and aims to highlight the diverse perspectives within the profession.
The focus is on practical topics, collegial exchange, and the question of how quality, working conditions, and the future of the profession can be developed together.
