For the first time, the VDT is hosting AUXeins, a two-day conference for the next generation of industry professionals, in Leipzig. Are you a student or in training and interested in the world of pro audio? Then AUXeins is the event for you!

SAE has invited us to visit their new campus in Leipzig. We will receive a tour of the campus, and Peter Maier (Department of Acoustics) will give us an insight into the design and construction of the studios.

We are trying out a new version of SALS, called Focus SALS. In this format, we listen to entire radio plays or albums, immersive ones of course, in a cosy atmosphere and with pleasant conversation.

On the agenda for the first session: Blocked Underground. An immersive radio play from BR.

The second round of SALS@HTWK. This time with a focus on psychoacoustics.

Join us at the finals of the eighth Student's Competition in Ambisonics! Either on site with like-minded people (for example in Graz, Düsseldorf, Hamburg or Leipzig) and an immersive sound system, or online with binaural sound on the internet.
