In cooperation with the Hamburg Student Section of AES Germany, the Hamburg Regional Group invites you to a public hearing at the ligeti zentrum

When the finals of the 10th Student 3D Audio Production Competition take place today in Graz, you can attend live in Hamburg! Ten Years of the 3D Audio Competition for Students: To celebrate the anniversary of the international competition hosted by IEM Graz, a collective live listening session will once again take place in Hamburg on November 13, 2026. It is being organized by the Hamburg Student Chapter of AES Germany in cooperation with the VDT and will be held this time at the ligeti zentrum. Here you can experience the finals with an immersive speaker setup, in a great atmosphere, followed by stimulating discussions. If you’d like to attend in Hamburg, please be sure to register in advance, as space is limited!

Students could submit their work in three categories. First, three productions were nominated from the many submissions in each category. Today, the nominees will present their works, and the jury will announce the gold, silver, and bronze winners. You’ll hear the winning productions in their original quality through the ligeti zentrum’s 3D sound system and watch the live broadcast directly from Graz. Based on past years, we know we can expect high quality and plenty of fun. It’s definitely worth being there.
