Meeting of the Regional Group Stuttgart: Euraka Baden-Baden
Dear VDT Members,
On Wednesday, April 23rd, we are planning a regional group meeting in Baden-Baden at the Event Academy of Euraka Baden-Baden gGmbH.
EurAka Baden-Baden gGmbH manages an educational campus for the event industry. Under its roof, the Event Academy and two vocational schools operate, responsible for training “Event Technology Specialists” and “Event Management Assistants” in Baden-Württemberg.
The Event Academy offers the following further training programs up to master qualification:
Event Management • Event Technology • Event Safety • Production • Rigging • Sound, Video & PA Systems • Stage Props.
We have planned the following schedule:
6:00 PM – Meeting at Euraka
6:30 PM – Tour of the Academy campus, visit to the Academy stage, workshops for stage painters and sculptors, and the laboratory for event technology (audio/lighting).
7:45 PM – Lecture by Adrian Walz (Head of Event Academy) about the new Specialist for Sound Technologyqualification according to IGVW SQQ7, which complements the training for event technicians and is also offered by Euraka. (“The SQQ7 defines a professional specialization qualification and aims at Level 5 of the German Qualifications Framework (DQR) and the equivalent EQF Level 5 (European Qualification Framework). It builds on the competencies acquired in the Event Technology Specialist training (DQR Level 4) but is also open to career changers with proven prior knowledge.”)
8:30 PM – Informal get-together with finger food and drinks (approx. €25 participation fee), likely in the Event Academy’s facilities.
10:30 PM – End of the event
To organize the evening properly, we need an approximate number of participants. Therefore, we kindly ask for pre-registration by Thursday, April 3rd, via email to:
Details regarding the address, directions, and the exact participation fee will follow after April 3rd, once we have an estimate of the number of attendees.
Please note: The event will be held in German.
We would be delighted to welcome many of you!
Best regards,
