On 30 October, the VDT Leipzig regional group (SALS) invites you to a joint listening session at SAE Leipzig. The occasion is the tenth anniversary of the 3D-Audio Production Competition organised by the IEM in Graz. Together, we will listen to award-winning productions from previous years in the categories of electronic composition, audio drama and music production. The entries offer plenty of material for discussion about the creative possibilities of 3D audio – and perhaps its limitations, too.

As our event partner, SAE Leipzig is providing its facilities, including an immersive 7.1.4 sound system.

Places are limited to twelve participants, so please register in advance by .

The event starts at 5:00 pm. Please make sure to arrive promptly at 4:45 pm at the Arkaden shopping arcade on Petersstraße 15–17.
