On 18 and 19 November 2026, Sonic Days will take place for the fifth time at Sonic College in Kolding, Denmark. The international audio conference brings together industry professionals, students and researchers, offering a diverse programme of talks, workshops and hands-on demonstrations covering audio production, sound design and immersive technologies. This year's highlights include insights into the immersive audio production of the sci-fi game Exodus and a live episode of the Tonebenders podcast exploring the future of dialogue editing for film and television. The close ties to the college are also reflected in an accompanying Erasmus+ programme featuring dedicated workshops for students, starting ahead of the conference. The VDT will be represented by Jan Feldmann (Head of the Game Audio and Young Talent Departments) and Patrick Leuchter (VDT Office). Attendance at Sonic Days is free of charge; only prior registration via Sched is required.
