HTWK Leipzig Invites You to a Public Listening and VDT Meeting

While the finals of the tenth Student 3D Audio Production Competition are taking place today in Graz, you can be there live in Leipzig!

To mark the tenth anniversary of the international competition organized by IEM Graz, which focuses on student 3D audio productions, a collective live listening session will once again take place at HTWK Leipzig on November 13, 2026. In the screening room of the Media Center, you can experience the finals through an immersive speaker setup, in a great atmosphere, followed by stimulating discussions. If you’d like to attend in Leipzig, please be sure to register with us in advance, as space is limited!

Students could submit their work in three categories. First, three productions were nominated from the many submissions in each category. Today, the nominees will present their work, and the jury will announce the gold, silver, and bronze winners. You’ll hear the winning productions in their original quality through the HTWK’s outstanding 3D sound system and watch the live broadcast directly from Graz. Based on past years, we know we can expect high quality and plenty of fun. It’s definitely worth attending!

Note: The event will be filmed, and audience members will be occasionally featured in the livestream.

Registration: See the button above

Location: HTWK Leipzig, Media Center, Gustav-Freytag-Straße 40A, 04277 Leipzig

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; the live broadcast from Graz begins at 7:00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there!
