Dear Colleagues,
Our next activity, scheduled for Thursday, October 29, will be a visit to Lawo in Rastatt. Most of you are likely familiar with Lawo as a leading manufacturer of high-quality, professional mixing consoles, network equipment, and video technology.
We will tour the following areas:
1. History: We will visit the exhibition of Lawo products from the 1970s to the present and attend a presentation on the topic. Lawo’s product line reflects the history and development of broadcast technology since the 1970s.
2. Manufacturing: This will be followed by a guided tour of the various areas of mixing console production, including the warehouse, mechanical shop, assembly, configuration, test lab, and data center. A demonstration of the current MC² mixing console product line is also expected to be available.
3. Social Gathering: Starting around 6:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to enjoy dinner together at the “Schützenliesl” pizzeria.
