The Swiss Regional Group will meet on August 10, 2026, in St. Gallen for a live 3D recording at the world’s only “Surround Organ.” Together, we gain insight into the ongoing recording of an organ work with Bernhard Ruchti at St. Laurenzen City Church. Together with Grammy Award winner Hans-Martin Buff (buffwerk) and Stefan Ritzenthaler (Gallus Media), we’ll discuss the Ambisonic microphone setup, spatiality, and sound reproduction. Afterward, there will be a listening session, including refreshments, in Gallus Media’s Dolby Atmos control room.
