The presentation introduces a data format developed by the Audio Communication Group and a web frontend that enables the documentation and scientific analysis of the tonmeister’s contribution to music and audio productions. Using selected productions, the structure of these analyses is illustrated, alongside a review of the current legal framework for performers’ rights, which largely hinges on the question of artistic intervention.

The presentation will take place in the studio of the Audio Communication Group (Einsteinufer 17, room EN 324).
Coming from Straße des 17. Juni: stairs at the end of the Electrical Engineering building (Einsteinufer 17), followed by the elevator to the 3rd floor. The entrance to the group is directly opposite.
