The regional groups are the important first points of contact in the association, close to the members and full of exciting activities. Every five years, the leadership teams of the regional groups are newly elected and thus confirmed by the membership in their region.

The VDT has a great deal of continuity in the voluntary sector. But there are also new faces who want to play an active role in management and stand for election. Regardless of whether the existing, experienced people are running or whether motivated new managers are presenting themselves: They are all dependent on the support of the members. That is why we are calling on you today to vote online for your regional group management.

The election will take place online and by secret ballot. You will need your MyVDT access to vote. Please check that all your details, especially your place of residence, are still correct in MyVDT! Each member can only vote in the regional group to which they are assigned based on their place of residence. If you are currently changing your place of residence and would like to move to another regional group, please contact the office before the election begins. As this is a secret ballot, we will not be able to make any changes once voting has begun.

The election ends on June 3. We expect to inform members of the election results on June 7.

We ask for eager voter participation; this has a very motivating effect on the volunteers who stand for election in order to plan regional activities and meetings for you over the next five years!
