Our valued member Gerhard Wölfle has invited us to tour the renowned Dorian Gray Studios. In addition to a guided tour of the studios and the SRH University campus - to which the studios have belonged since 2024 - Gerhard will give us an insight into the planning and construction of the studios, which moved from Eichenau to their newly built location in Munich in 2020. Of course, there will also be some audio to enjoy.

As a little extra, Gerhard will also demonstrate his Studer C37 ¼-inch tube tape machine from the 1960s. We’ll have the opportunity to compare the sound of this legendary tape machine with other tape machines at Dorian Gray Studios (e.g., the Studer A80 ½-inch) as well as digital plug-ins.
Afterward, we’ll wrap up the evening at the Italian restaurant around the corner.
