Today, the Extended Board of the VDT (first leaders of the regional groups, section coordinator, board) is meeting to set the course for the upcoming board election. Participation by invitation only.

The SALS returns with a session about 3D microphone recording techniques. Based upon Hyunkook Lee's 3D-MARCo research, we will listen to different microphone array recordings and discuss them over a cold drink.

Stefan Weinzierl (TU Berlin) invites us to an afternoon dedicated to the acoustics of musical instruments: We will start with a guided tour of the acoustics test hall, including the anechoic chamber, followed by a lecture on the subject of “Anechoic chamber and acoustic research”.

The VDT has now been a member of the BAGSV, the Federal Working Group of Self-Employed Associations, for two years. Many VDT members are self-employed. What has membership brought them? Have important issues been addressed and the right course set? Now we want to re-evaluate this membership.
