On February 1, the VDT office moved back into a large office. It is in an extremely central location, with a view of various WDR buildings, right in the center of Cologne.

“We finally have enough space again to work together in the office at the same time, including for our now larger team of permanent employees and freelancers,” says Stefani Renner happily, adding: ”We can reduce working from home again and even have enough space in the office for small to medium-sized meetings.”

The new office is located on the premises of VdO e. V. (Association of German Opera and Dance Companies) and our lawyer Tobias Könemann, which we hope will create good synergies. We will benefit from the short distances between us and our lawyer as early as this quarter, when we initiate the Board election.

We had a good time in our emergency office, which we moved to at very short notice in 2021 after the water damage to our office on Friesenplatz. However, the space was far too small at just under 12 square meters. We are already enjoying having large desks, a small meeting corner and a large meeting table again - and the opportunity to receive visitors again!
