For the second time, the VDT is offering the ProAudio College at Prolight + Sound, a compact series of training courses for all visitors to the trade fair. Various short seminars will be offered on four topics: some of them in English to reach an international audience.
Like the last time, a topic strand will present examples of various training modules from the IGVW SQQ7 standard (further training for sound specialists). This time, the program includes basics such as “Sound waves and sound propagation”, as well as digital audio systems and mixing console practice. This training block is of interest to event technology specialists as well as career changers who are considering a further qualification in sound. It is also aimed at project managers or schedulers who are looking for good sound operators. The articles show in detail what you can expect from the SQQ7 training program.
The third subject area is aimed at operators of project or home recording studios. A mix-down with home studio equipment will be demonstrated practically, and the basics of room acoustics for home studios will also be explained. Active participation is expressly encouraged and questions will be answered individually! A new addition is the topic of network technology and frequency management. On the one hand, media networks will be scrutinized and on the other hand, new developments in frequency management for wireless systems will be discussed. This topic is aimed at professionals who want to deepen their knowledge in these specialized areas.
Once again, well-known speakers are part of the team: Christoph Stoll, Heinz Peter Reykers, Jörn Nettingsmeier, Marco Völzke, Sebastian Zündorf and Ulli Schiller are looking forward to numerous participants in their contributions!
The ProAudio College will be held in hall 11 on level 1 in the Portalhaus in the TRANSPARENZ 2 conference room. The detailed program can be found in the online program calendar.
By the way: VDT members receive a free ticket for all days of Prolight + Sound on request. Participation in the ProAudio College is also free of charge.
