SALS is back from its winter break.

In cooperation with the AES Student Section Hamburg, we invite you to the Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS) on April 18 from 16 o'clock. We will meet in a cozy atmosphere in the Immersive Audio Lab on the 3rd floor of the new building at Finkenau 35 to listen to spatial audio pieces and chat about them over a cold drink.

Numerous formats can be played through the Immersive Audio Lab's more than 30 loudspeakers, from quadraphonic pieces to 5.1 Dolby Surround and Dolby Atmos to Ambisonics 7th Order.

This time, we'll be looking at quadraphonic audio again and delving deeper into the topic than in our session in November. We'll take the time to listen to two complete works in their entirety. As always, there will of course be a short break in between.

Participation is only possible by registering at this email , as we can only offer 15 places. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for further discussion in a small group.
