The SALS returns with a session about 3D microphone recording techniques. Based upon Hyunkook Lee's 3D-MARCo research, we will listen to different microphone array recordings and discuss them over a cold drink.

For the first time, the VDT exibits at the Hamburg Open. The event takes place on January 15 and 16 in Hall B6 of the Hamburg Messe. We look forward to welcoming numerous visitors to our stand no. 738 and also to our presentations.

On January 10, starting at 4 pm, we invite you to the Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS). On this date, we will delve deeper into the topic of Ambisonics. The immersive sound format, which has existed since the 1970s, has been enjoying steadily growing interest ever since.

Christmas party at the HAW Hamburg Audio lab! Besides a meeting between VDT- and AES-members, there will be punch, music and 3D audio!

The VDT's Young Talents Department, in cooperation with the AES Student Section Hamburg, invites you to the Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS) on November 29th from 4 p.m (16 o'clock). This event will focus on quadraphonic, the playback of pieces over four loudspeakers.

Join us at the finals of the eighth Student's Competition in Ambisonics! Either on site with like-minded people (for example in Graz, Düsseldorf, Hamburg or Leipzig) and an immersive sound system, or online with binaural sound on the internet.

Die Referate Nachwuchs, Arbeit/Recht/Soziales und Beschallung laden ein zu einem offenen Austausch speziell für Menschen am Anfang ihrer Tonkarriere. Wir freuen uns auf eine rege Teilnahme!
