tmt31: Own Selection of the Program transferable to Online Calendar

The program of the Tonmeistertagung is very well visible and searchable online. And if you have found one or more exciting sessions, you can add them to your personal calendar (e.g. Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google, Thunderbird, ...). A practical solution to not miss anything at the conference itself!

From a purely technical point of view, this is done via so-called .ics files. There are different ways to use the ics-file:

  1. Add all sessions and events of tmt31 to your own calendar or subscribe to them.
  2. Transfer search results from the tmt31 program schedule to your own calendar or subscribe to them.
  3. Copy or subscribe to individual sessions of the tmt31 in your own calendar.

The subscription functionality has the advantage that the entry in your own calendar is also adjusted in case of any changes. If you only copy an event instead of creating a subscription, then it is a static calendar entry. How to create a subscription in your own calendar can be read in the world wide web.

And this is how it works:

To 1: Add all sessions and events of tmt31 to your own calendar or subscribe to them:

The link for the total subscription in your own calendar can be found at the bottom of the tmt31 program page. Depending on which calendar you use, you can set up this link as a fixed entry or as a subscription. Possible later program changes will be transferred to your own calendar when subscribing.

To 2: Transfer search results from the tmt31 program schedule to your own calendar or subscribe to them:

Use the filter function on the right below the online schedule to find the desired sessions. You can cascade the filter options, e.g. search for Jane Doe's contribution to topic XY on a certain day in a certain room. The search result shows the session or sessions in which the post you are looking for occurs. If you are satisfied with your search result, proceed as described under 1.

To 3: Copy or subscribe to individual sessions of the tmt31 in your own calendar:

If you only want to add a single event to your calendar, click on the calendar symbol in front of the date in the colored information bar and proceed with this link as mentioned under 1.
