The Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in cooperation with the VDT and the ORF musikprotokoll is once again organizing the 3D Competition for students. The finals of the 3D Competition will take place on Friday evening, November 8. The live broadcast will take place directly from the IEM in Graz, where the nominees, the jury and all visitors will find perfect listening conditions in the large hall. Several public viewing spots, for example in Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Leipzig, invite you to experience the contributions locally on site via an immersive sound system in the company of like-minded people. The event will also be broadcast live with binaural audio. In the near future, all nominated contributions can also be heard via the website with headphones and webcam binaural with head tracking.
Anyone with an immersive sound system is cordially invited to join us for a public viewing on the evening of November 8. We will be happy to support you with the implementation!
